Sindh Human Rights Information Management System will improve human rights reporting: Chief Minister for Human Rights Surendar Valasai

Karachi, October 12, 2021 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Human Rights Surendar Valasai inaugurated Sindh Human Rights Information Management System (HRIMS) developed by UNDP today. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated UNDP for helping establishment of HRIMS, which will greatly help Sindh government in digitising data to cater to the needs in meeting the international human rights obligations of the country.

Surendar Valasai further said that soon a meeting of the Task Force of line departments will be called to interlink them for a synchronized data collection. UNDP team highlighted the technical aspects of the System to improve the human rights reporting and communication with the Federal government. Senior Human Rights and Social Protection Advisor UNDP Salman Asif, Secretary Human Rights Department Jawed Sibghatullah Mahar, Project Officer Munira Hirwani, Munir Ahmed and others were present at the inauguration and handing over ceremony.
