Haripur: The Centre for Counseling and Social Wellbeing recently held a one-day seminar titled “MOVERS: Techniques That Streamline Your Day and Strengthen Your Psychological Well-being,” emphasizing the critical importance of mental health awareness. This event, organized by the Department of Psychology, aimed to foster a deeper understanding of mental wellness among students, faculty, and mental health professionals.
Held at Al Razi Hall, the seminar featured insights from Dr. Javed Iqbal, a renowned psychologist, who provided practical tools to help attendees manage stress and maintain psychological balance. Dr. Omer Murtaza Sheikh, Head of the Psychiatry Department at DHQ Haripur, also addressed the gathering. He discussed clinical perspectives on mental health challenges and stressed the significance of early intervention and community support in tackling these issues.
