Seminar Explores Ramadan Practices at International Islamic University Islamabad

Islamabad: A seminar titled “The Prophetic Model of Observing the Holy Month of Ramadan” was successfully organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs and the Community Services Committee at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). The event, held as a part of the Istakbal-e-Ramadan series, aimed to provide attendees with insights into the religious practices associated with the holy month.

According to a statement by International Islamic University Islamabad, the seminar featured key addresses by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Awaji, Head of the Department of Hadith and Its Sciences, and Dr. Ali Tariq, Assistant Professor and In-Charge of Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Usuluddin. Dr. Al-Awaji focused on the various forms of worship during Ramadan, including charity, daily prayers, and Taraweeh, while Dr. Tariq discussed community engagement and the significance of the Qur’an during the month.

The seminar provided a comprehensive understanding of the spiritual opportunities available during Ramadan and highlighted how these practices can foster personal growth and community solidarity. The event concluded with a group photo, reflecting the spirit of unity and brotherhood promoted by the university.
