Islamabad, December 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the directions of H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, Worthy President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), a review meeting was held here in the council hall, admin block under the supervision of the Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Vice President Female Campus (FC) to organize the university’s mega event “IIUI EXTRAVAGANZA-2022”.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President (Academics) Dr. Rizwan Aftab, Students’ Advisor (male), Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, Students’ Advisor (Female), Provost Male Dr. Abrar Anver, Provost female Dr. Humaira Ashfaq, Mr. Al Hassan, Assistant Director (P and PR)/ Secretary steering committee, chairpersons of the sub committees and other relevant officials.
During the meeting Prof. Dr. Samina was apprised by each head of the committee about the final preparations of the arrangements. Dr. Samina Malik said that the event is being arranged for all the national and international students of the university where they will be provided equal opportunities to participate in different co-crueller activities so that they can showcase their talents using this platform.
On this occasion, Dr. Samina reviewed the feedback on given tasks for organizing the “IIUI Extravaganza-2022”, from all the chairpersons of sub-committees and directed to finalize the given task and expedite the final preparations. She advised all the constituted committees to remain in touch with the steering committee constituted by the Worthy President, IIUI, for all kind of immediate assistance on hourly and daily basis.
The committee heads were conveyed that all the relevant officials shall remain on duty at the campus during the weekends to expedite the work on given tasks. Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President (Academics) also shared valuable input during the meeting to make the event successful, and ensured full support in all kind of matters related to the execution plan of the mega event of the university.
Dr. Samina showed satisfaction over the ongoing performance and hard work by the officials and hoped this mega event will be an enthralling activity. V.P. (FC) also reviewed the measures for preparation of IIUI mega event and in this regard discussed in detail various outcomes of the meetings. On this occasion she also reviewed the feedback from chairpersons of the sub committees regarding various activates of the event.
