Lahore: The University of Central Punjab organized an Urdu Mushaira on November 1, 2024, creating an evening that celebrated the beauty of expression and the power of language to spark emotions. Esteemed poets such as Wajid Ameer, Hameeda Shaheen, Azhar Faragh, Ali Zaryoun, Umair Najmi, Ammar Iqbal, Ahmed Saeed, GM Shah, Zia Mazkoor, Sohaib Mugheera, Zaib-un-Nisa Wasiq, Mah-e-Noor, Kafeel Rana, and Ahmed Abdullah shared their mesmerizing verses with an engaged audience.

According to University of Central Punjab (UCP), each poet brought their unique style to the event, filling the atmosphere with a rich exchange of poetic expressions that resonated deeply with the audience. The emotions stirred by their words lingered in the air long after the event had ended. The audience, composed of staff, students, and faculty members, left the event with a deeper appreciation for language, its power to evoke emotion, and the beauty of poetic expression.
