Punjab University Educator Wins Outstanding Local Chinese Language Teacher Award

Lahore: Punjab University’s Abdullah Ze Hasham, a Chinese Language Teacher at the Confucius Institute, has received the ‘Outstanding Local Chinese Language Teacher-2024’ award from the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), a body of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. This award is in recognition of his significant contributions to the promotion and teaching of the Chinese language.

According to University of the Punjab, the award highlights Mr. Hasham’s exceptional teaching achievements and his participation in a two-week intensive training program at Beijing Normal University. The Confucius Institute Host-Director at Punjab University, Prof Dr. Shafiq-Ur-Rehman, praised Mr. Hasham’s dedication, noting that his accomplishments underscore the university’s role in enhancing educational relations between China and Pakistan.
