Lahore: The Government of Punjab has launched the Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program, aiming to provide financial assistance to outstanding students seeking higher education in the province. This initiative targets young individuals with limited resources, offering them the opportunity to pursue undergraduate degrees at top universities and colleges without financial strain.
According to Fatima Jinnah Medical University – Lahore, approximately 30,000 scholarships will be distributed annually under this merit-based program. Eligible students must be residents of Punjab, aged no more than 22 years at the time of application closure, and have a family income not exceeding Rs. 30,000 per month. The program also covers various disciplines, allowing applicants enrolled in the first year of MBBS and BDS programs for the 2024 academic year to apply.
The application deadline is set for October 15, 2023, and interested candidates can obtain more information and apply directly through the official scholarship portal. This comprehensive support aims to enable students to concentrate fully on their studies and achieve academic excellence without the burden of tuition fees.
