Lahore, 10 Oct 2023:The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the management for the Pakistan U19 team for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka U19, starting from 15 October in Karachi, according to a press release issued by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The series will encompass a single four-day match and five 50-over matches. Shahid Anwar, former international cricketer with a coaching history at the domestic level, will head the six-member team management.
Anwar, 55, known for his one international appearance against England in a 1996 ODI, has been assigned to various coaching roles at the domestic level since his retirement from international cricket. The U19 squad will assemble at the team hotel later tonight, and their training at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, is slated for the next two days, with a detailed schedule to be released subsequently.
The Pakistan U19 squad for the four-day match includes Saad Baig as captain and wicket-keeper, alongside players Ahmed Hussain, Aimal Khan, Ali Asfand, Amir Hassan, Arafat Minhas, Azan Awais, Hamza Nawaz, Huzaifa Ayub, Mohammad Ibtisam, Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Zubair, Naveed Ahmed Khan, Shahmeer Ali, Shahzaib Khan, and Wahaj Riaz.
The support staff announced alongside Shahid Anwar (head coach) include Rehan Riaz (assistant coach/bowling coach), Mansoor Amjad (fielding coach), Hafiz Ali Hamza (analyst), Ubaidullah (physio), and Imranullah (strength and conditioning coach).

15-18 October: Four-day match
22 October: First One-Day
24 October: Second One-Day
27 October: Third One-Day
29 October: Fourth One-Day
31 October: Fifth One-Day
