Pakistan Sunni Tehreek President Highlights Challenges Ahead of Elections

Karachi, Muhammad Sarwat Ejaz Qadri, President of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, expressed concerns over the country’s current political and economic situation in the run-up to the general elections. He emphasized the difficulties faced by the public due to past governance and the crucial role of political parties in addressing the nation’s crises.

According to Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Qadri criticized the prevailing political culture of accusations and mudslinging among parties, suggesting that such actions have led to public disillusionment. He pointed out the challenges of succeeding in the upcoming elections, given the widespread dissatisfaction with previous rulers. Qadri stressed that the nation is grappling with severe issues such as inflation, unemployment, and increasing utility bills, which have pushed many below the poverty line.

Qadri called on political parties to clarify their policies and unite on a common platform to address the nation’s problems. He highlighted the pressing need for a system that ensures justice, education, law and order, and a fair tax collection system. The Pakistan Sunni Tehreek President also noted the impact of recent terrorist incidents on national security, emphasizing the importance of providing a secure environment to attract foreign investment.

Qadri’s statement reflects a call for meaningful political reform and service to the people, rather than engaging in counterproductive political rhetoric. He underscored the importance of good intentions and effective governance to bring the country out of its current crisis.
