Pakistan Squash Players Shine in European Junior Events

Peshawar: The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has announced a significant achievement as Pakistani junior players secured top honors at several European squash tournaments. Mehvish, Sehrish, and Mahnoor captured gold, silver, and bronze medals respectively at the Danish Junior, Nordic Junior Open in Sweden, and Hungarian Junior Squash events, underscoring the country’s burgeoning talent in the sport.

According to Pakistan Squash Federation, the young athletes’ return was celebrated at Peshawar Airport, where they were greeted by PSF’s Director of Academies, Group Captain (R) Irfan Asghar. The reception highlighted the Federation’s pride in their achievements and its ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent.

Group Captain Irfan Asghar, who recently won the Asian Masters Gold Medal, was present to welcome the players. His accomplishment and leadership continue to inspire the next generation of Pakistani squash players.

The PSF has extended its gratitude to the coaches, trainers, and support staff whose dedication has been pivotal in achieving these international successes.
