Orange Tree Foundation Explores Enhanced Scholarship Collaboration with International Islamic University Islamabad

Islamabad: The Orange Tree Foundation, based in Karachi, visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) to discuss expanding their scholarship collaboration aimed at supporting deserving and talented students.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the visit was marked by the presence of Ms. Nuzhat Zareen, Director of University Advancement and Financial Aid at IIUI, who welcomed the delegation led by Mr. Omer Mateen Allahwala, CEO of the Orange Tree Foundation, and Ms. Arooba Ghayas, Manager of Partnership. The discussions focused on joint ventures and educational programs that could benefit the students financially and academically.

During the meeting, CEO Omer Mateen detailed the foundation’s initiatives, including the Character Enrichment Program, Student Counselling Support, Student Healthcare Assistance, and the Women Empowerment Program (NISA). Ms. Zareen highlighted IIUI’s efforts in facilitating a wide range of scholarships, noting that currently, 22% of undergraduate students are benefiting from various need and merit-based scholarships provided by different donor agencies.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creating equal educational opportunities and fostering financial independence through quality education.
