Karachi: National Textile University (NTU) made a lasting impact at the 5th International Textile Exhibition TEXPO 2024, held from September 23 to 25 at the Karachi Expo Center. The event, organized by the ORIC departments of NTU Faisalabad and NTU Karachi Campus, brought Pakistan’s textile innovations to the forefront, attracting a diverse array of national and international visitors, including key industry delegations captivated by NTU’s advancements in textile design, sustainability, and technology.
According to National Textile University (NTU), the NTU team was led by Muhammad Waqas, Deputy Director ORIC Industrial Liaison, Engr. Muhammad Haroon Shoukat, and Muhammad Asif Saleem, who emphasized the university’s commitment to industry-academia collaboration. The exhibition showcased NTU’s efforts in pushing the boundaries of textile innovation and technology.
On the sideline, NTU ORIC presented product developments, testing, and consultancy facilities at the National Textile Research Center – NTU Faisalabad, in Hall 2 of the Expo Center. This initiative highlighted NTU’s role in advancing research and providing industry-relevant solutions.
