LAHORE: In response to the mysterious death of a student at Punjab University, university officials stated in an urgent press conference that no firing incidents occurred at the locations allegedly reported.

According to University of the Punjab, the press conference featured PU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Director General Prof. Dr. Rehan Sadiq Sheikh, Registrar Dr. Ahmed Islam, Resident Officer 1 Col (r) Umar Khalid, CSO Col (r) Tanveer Bhatti, and Director of Student Affairs Dr. Shahzeb Khan.
