National Textile University Hosts Training on Outcome-Based Education for New Faculty Members.

Faisalabad: The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of National Textile University (NTU) conducted a one-day training session on November 6, 2024, aimed at newly inducted regular and visiting faculty members. The session was centered on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), a pedagogical method that focuses on aligning course content, teaching strategies, and assessment techniques with specific learning outcomes.

According to National Textile University (NTU), the session featured Dr. Syed Talha Hamdani, an Associate Professor at NTU’s School of Engineering and Technology, as the resource person. Dr. Hamdani shared his insights on the implementation of OBE, emphasizing the importance of Bloom’s Taxonomy in creating an engaging learning environment and conducting effective assessments.

At the end of the training, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dean of QEC, provided feedback on the session’s impact and effectiveness. He also extended a vote of thanks to all participants and presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Hamdani for his contribution to the training.
