Bahawalpur, August 21, 2023 (PPI-OT): The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Political Science, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) was held at the Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar and Faheem Ahmed Khan Senior Projects Manager Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency signed the memorandum of understanding.

According to the agreement, both institutes will organize various activities related to the training and participation of youth in the electoral process and their dialogue with the leading political parties about their awareness and role in the political system of Pakistan. Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Prof. Dr. Yasmin Rufi, Dr. Abid Shehzad, Director National and International Linkages, Dr. Shakeel Akhtar, Focal Person and faculty members of the Department of Political Science were also present on this occasion
