Patel’s six dismissals, including three stumpings and three catches, were instrumental in Samp Army’s triumph.

According to Rabtaa Sports, thanks to equal contributions of 29 runs each from Faf du Plessis, Karim Janat, and an unbeaten knock from Jason Holder. In response, Team Abu Dhabi struggled and could only muster 83 for 8. Holder excelled with the ball, taking three wickets for 12 runs, and Moeen Ali added two wickets for four runs. This marked Abu Dhabi’s third consecutive defeat in the series.

Team Abu Dhabi, electing to field first, witnessed Samp Army opener Ibrahim Zadran’s aggressive start. However, it was the eighth over that boosted Samp Army’s total, with Holder and Janat hitting boundaries and sixes. The innings concluded with Holder’s quickfire 29 off ten balls, setting a challenging target for Team Abu Dhabi.

Chasing a demanding run rate, Abu Dhabi lost opener Kyle Mayers to the first ball and Alex Hales soon after, both falling victim to Patel’s sharp wicketkeeping. Patel continued to dominate behind the stumps, effecting two more stumpings and taking three catches. By the end of the fourth over, Team Abu Dhabi had lost half their side for 38 runs, with Patel playing a crucial role in their collapse.

Despite a late effort by Sharafu, who remained unbeaten on 18, Team Abu Dhabi fell short of the target, ending with 83 for 8. Monank Patel’s exceptional performance earned him the Player of the Match title, highlighting his significant contribution to Samp Army’s 35-run victory.
