Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament Continues with Four Energetic Matches in Karachi

Karachi: The Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament, hosted by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi in collaboration with Master Oil Lubricant, witnessed four thrilling matches at various grounds around the city, with teams displaying commendable skill and sportsmanship.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the tournament’s recent matches featured notable performances and competitive play, underscoring the depth of cricket talent in the region. In one of the matches held at Afza Ground, Taiser Town Tiger Cricket Club overcame Shama Sports by 5 wickets. Shama Sports was all out for 67 runs in 20 overs, with Salman Khan of Taiser Town taking 4 wickets for 18 runs, leading to their victory as they chased down the target in just 9.1 overs with 70/5 on the board.

Another gripping match saw Tariq Memorial Cricket Club (TMC) defeat Sakhi Hassan Gymkhana by 54 runs at Abbasi Ground. TMC set a formidable score of 205 all out in 32.5 overs, thanks to a strong batting performance by M. Ahmed Tahir who scored 48 runs. In response, Sakhi Hassan Gymkhana was all out for 151, despite M. Anas’s valiant 54-run effort.

The third match featured Fazalur Rehman Sports narrowly beating Delhi City Gymkhana by 2 wickets at Students Ground. Delhi City Gymkhana posted a total of 176 all out, with Farhan Rafiq contributing a high score of 68 runs. Fazalur Rehman Sports reached their target with 177/8, where Abdul Majid’s 45 runs were crucial for their victory.

The day concluded with Eastern Star Cricket Club securing a commanding 154-run victory over A.A.S. Sports at Young Fighter Ground. Eastern Star racked up a total of 282 all out, propelled by Kashif Khan’s 58 runs. A.A.S. Sports was dismissed for 128 runs, with Riaz Ali from Eastern Star taking 3 wickets for just 4 runs.
