Lahore, July 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): Passing the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination is the dream of many young, talented Pakistani students. Thousands of candidates appear each year, but only a few are selected. In 2022, over 20,262 candidates appeared for the CSS exam from all over Pakistan, out of which only 393 were able to qualify. From among them are 12 talented graduates from LUMS. In the past years, many LUMS graduates have successfully joined the civil service and served in key positions in the government, contributing highly towards the success and development of society and the country.
Last year, LUMS alumnus, Hafiz Ali Naeem Sheikh, a graduate of BSc Management Science 2017 topped the Central Superior Services (CSS) and was inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS). Two graduates, one from the Business School and the second from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, also secured the 2nd and 3rd position in the CSS exams, respectively. Ahsan Fraz Gondal, a graduate of BSc Accounting and Finance 2019, has secured second position and Haroon Sahu from BSc Economics and Mathematics 2020 has been placed at number 3.
