Faisalabad: The International Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference 2024 was successfully organized at the National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad, from September 26 to 27, 2024. The event was hosted under the banner of the NTU Quran Society (YDC), in collaboration with the School of Arts and Design (NTU) AIPA. The conference aimed to deepen the understanding of the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi, with a special emphasis on its relevance in contemporary education and the lives of young Muslims.
According to National Textile University (NTU), the conference attracted scholars from countries such as the USA, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Pakistan. The scholars presented insightful papers that focused on themes such as the reformation of the education system in Pakistan in the light of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) and other aspects of the Prophet’s life. The discussions highlighted the necessity of integrating the values and principles of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) into education to nurture morally conscious and socially responsible individuals.
Dr. Zafar Javed, Dean of the School of Arts and Design at NTU, delivered an address on the importance of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) in shaping the character and faith of young Muslims. Prof. Dr. Tanvir Hussain, Rector of NTU, in his closing remarks, expressed gratitude to the participating scholars for their valuable insights and dedication to the cause.
The International Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference 2024 concluded with a pledge to continue exploring and promoting the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi, ensuring they resonate in the educational and social landscapes of the nation.
