GCT holding daylong event TODAY in Karachi to entertain its 1,100 orphan students 

Karachi, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):The non-profit Green Crescent Trust (GCT) is today holding a daylong event in Karachi at a famous holiday resort to entertain its over 1,100 orphan students, enrolled in it’s over 100 charitable schools in Karachi, Gharro and Thatta. This events is a regular feature of GCT under its Orphan Support Program (OSP).

Labour Minister Sindh Saeed Ghani and Commissioner Karachi, Muhammad Iqbal Memon will grace the occasion as Guests of Honor along-with GCT’s patron-in-chief Sardar Yasin Malik, CEO Zahid Saeed, Trustees and hundreds of donors along-with Families.

“This OSP- fun-gala event is special annual feature of our continuing drive to support the orphan students enrolled in our charitable schools. Our support program provides regular assistance to the underprivileged families of these students throughout the year,” said GCT CEO Zahid Saeed. He said the drive to educate children of the destitute families in the backward areas of Sindh had become more challenging requiring constant support from the concerned philanthropists due to the massive harm done to the educational infrastructure by floods.

Sindh Governor, Kamran Khan Tessori, will likely be the chief guest at Hyderabad’s OSP gala to be held at Rani Bagh on December 31. Over 720 orphan students from 15 districts will attend the event.

Sindh Local Government Minister, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, will likely be the chief guest at the OSP gala to be held at Benazir Park in Sukkur on 7th January 2023. Over 130 orphan students from three districts will attend the activity.
