Islamabad, June 02, 2023 (PPI-OT): Jawad Hussain, a former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from NA-47, former FATA, has joined the Pakistan People’s Party after meeting former President of Pakistan and President of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari. On this occasion, Secretary General of Pakistan People’s Party Syed Nir Hussain Bukhari, Minister of State Secretary Information People’s Party Faisal Karim Kundi and Acting President and Minister of State of People’s Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Ali Bacha were also present.
The former President welcomed Jawad Hussain’s joining in the PPP and asked him about the situation in the former FATA and PATA. Said that the exemption period given under the previous FATA reforms should be extended which is necessary for the economic development of the region and the people. On this occasion, former President Asif Ali Zardari on behalf of the delegation from the former FATA and PATA taxes in the area.
