Fatima Jinnah Medical University Unveils Renovated Dining Facility

Lahore: Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) inaugurated its newly renovated FJMC E-Block mess on Monday, marking a significant improvement in student amenities. The revamped facility aims to provide a comfortable and conducive environment for learning.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, who officially opened the facility. He highlighted the importance of improved amenities for students and praised the efforts of Principal FJMC Prof. Abdul Hameed, as well as the hostel and university administration.

The event was attended by several notable faculty members, including Dean Undergraduate and Director QEC and DME, Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir, Dean Basic Sciences Prof. Aliya Zahid, and HOD Psychiatric Department Prof. Ayesha Rashid. Other attendees included Dr. Noor ul Ain, Dr. Taskeen Zahra, and Dr. Faiza Abrar, along with assistant hostel wardens and housekeepers. Students residing in the hostel also participated enthusiastically in the ceremony.

The upgraded mess hall features a spacious dining area, a hygienic kitchen, and enhanced food services. This renovation reflects FJMU’s commitment to providing top-notch infrastructure and student amenities.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Gondal cut the ribbon to formally commence the new food services. A special lunch was served to faculty, students, and hostel staff, who expressed appreciation for the improved facilities.

The renovation of the FJMC hostel mess demonstrates leadership vision and aims to foster a sense of community among students by providing a welcoming space and upgraded services.
