Faculty of Languages and Literature Explores Collaboration Opportunities with Indus Hospital.

Lahore: The Faculty of Languages and Literature (FLL) at the University of Central Punjab organized an insightful industry visit to Indus Hospital in Jubilee Town, Lahore, on October 29, 2024. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Shafeeq Haider, Chief Operating Officer of IHHN North, alongside Ms. Malahat and Mr. Waqas. Faculty members had the chance to gain firsthand exposure to the hospital’s advanced operations, patient care systems, and community outreach initiatives.

According to University of Central Punjab (UCP), the visit aimed to explore potential collaborations, discuss student placement opportunities, and establish partnerships that could enhance the academic experience at FLL-UCP. A key focus was on the importance of effective communication skills and accurate documentation in healthcare, underscoring FLL’s commitment to integrating linguistic expertise into industry practices.

The visit was coordinated by Mr. Nohaiz Mehmood, FILO, and Ms. Fatima Urooj, Senior Program Coordinator for Student Engagement and Industrial Linkages, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fehmida Sultana, Dean of FLL. This initiative underscores FLL-UCP’s dedication to helping students apply their language skills in real-world industries.
