Lahore: The Director General of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab, along with a delegation of eight officials, visited Forman Christian College University (FCCU) to discuss potential academic collaborations aimed at advancing environmental solutions. The visit focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in areas such as air pollution monitoring, water treatment, and biogas production.
According to Forman Christian College, the visit was highlighted by a tour of FCCU’s labs and an introduction to the university’s environmental science programs, faculty, and current research initiatives. The EPA Punjab delegation, including the Director and Assistant Directors, expressed a strong interest in establishing a formal partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bolster joint research and knowledge exchange in critical environmental areas.
The engagement marks a significant step towards enhancing the relationship between EPA Punjab and FCCU, potentially leading to impactful environmental projects and innovations. This collaboration aligns with both institutions’ goals to improve environmental conditions through academic and practical research initiatives.
