Karachi: Dow University Hospital has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Lab at its Ojha Campus, enhancing its respiratory diagnostic capabilities with advanced technology and expert care. This facility is one of only three of its kind in Karachi, equipped with comprehensive testing services including Spirometry, Lung Volumes, and Lung Diffusion Capacity (DLCO).
According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the lab was officially opened by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy T.I and Pro Vice Chancellor and MS Prof. Jahan Ara Hassan. The university also boasts a top-tier Sleep Lab, further solidifying its commitment to advancing pulmonary care. The PFT Lab operates under the supervision of a UK Board Certified Consultant and his team, ensuring high standards of patient care and precision in pulmonary testing.
