Dow University Celebrates FCPS Graduates’ Commitment to Medicine and Compassion

Karachi: The FCPS graduation ceremony at Dow Medical College, orchestrated by the School of Postgraduate Studies, celebrated the accomplishments of its students while emphasizing a future grounded in compassion, respect, and continual learning. Senior Vice President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, urged the new graduates to integrate love for Pakistan and dedication to their patients into their professional lives.

According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the event took place at the Moin Auditorium with notable figures such as Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Saeed Qureshi and several pro vice chancellors and faculty members in attendance. They awarded certificates to the graduates in various specializations. Prof. Gondal in his speech highlighted Dow University’s status as a premier institution with an impressive number of supervisors and fellows.

Vice Chancellor Qureshi addressed the graduates, stressing the blend of art and science in medicine and the importance of maintaining compassionate patient relationships despite the rigors of medical duty. The ceremony included the distribution of degrees to 160 fellows across various disciplines, and Prof. Danish Hussain administered an oath to the students, underscoring service to humanity without discrimination.
