Islamabad: The Central Library at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has announced it will begin its Library Orientation Program for new students of the Fall Semester 2024 starting from September 16. The program aims to familiarize students with various library resources and services including the use of the Online Public Access Catalogue, library website functionalities, and digital resources available through the Higher Education Commission.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the orientation sessions will be held in the Library Seminar Room from September 16 to October 29, 2024, on working days. The sessions are structured to accommodate male and female students on alternate days, ensuring all new intakes have the opportunity to participate fully.
The library has also provided contact details for students to reach out with any schedule-related inquiries. Female students can contact Ms. Sidra Shan or Dr. Haleema Sadia, while male students are advised to reach out to Mr. Obaid-Ur-Rehman or Mr. Aamir Shahzad for assistance.
