Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi said that the pre-poll rigging has started in Punjab, the bogus government is seeing its defeat so he has a plan of rigging on which they will have to face strong resistance from the people. He said that what has this bogus imported government done for the people till date which got them votes, apart from increasing the price of electricity, gas and petrol, what is the deed of this government.

Ch Parvez Elahi further said that even on the issue of blasphemy by the Indian ruling party, the imported government did not give any strong response? Four police personnel have also been deployed along with the dissenter candidates who are harassing the people. Every fraudulent tactic is being used in the constituencies. Wherever by-elections are taking place, the Bogus Punjab government and the concerned Deputy Commissioner have assigned tasks to the institutions at the level of streets and neighbourhoods to carry out development work on which the Election Commission should take action.
