Karachi: Bilal I Gilani, Executive Director of Gallup Pakistan, has been appointed to the Board of Gallup International Association. The announcement follows his selection during the General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur in May 2024, signaling a strategic move to bolster global public opinion research.
According to Gallup Pakistan, the election of Gilani along with other distinguished professionals from across the globe aims to enhance the organization’s ability to capture and analyze diverse global perspectives. The newly elected Board, led by Michael Nitsche of Gallup Austria as President, includes experts from the United Kingdom, Iraq, Sweden, Georgia, Bulgaria, and Spain. This group will guide the association’s mission to deliver high-quality public opinion research worldwide.
Gilani, who has led Gallup Pakistan since 2009, brings over 15 years of experience in opinion polling and research. His expertise is expected to contribute significantly to the association’s strategic initiatives and research quality. The addition of Gilani and his peers to the Board reflects Gallup International’s commitment to maintaining high standards and driving innovation in global opinion research.
