Karachi, September 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): Indus Kay Sitaray, a hospital-based school at Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi organized a field trip for its students to visit Super Space, an indoor theme park at Ocean Mall, Karachi.
Group 13 patients accompanied with parents and members of IHHN’s Psychosocial team was organized for the students of Indus Kay Sitaray, Indus Hospital and Health Network’s (IHHN’s) school for children suffering from pediatric cancer and other chronic diseases.
Thirteen excited children accompanied by one parent each and members of IHHN’s Psychosocial team excitedly enjoyed fun-filled day out activity at the park. The young children sat on rides like mini flying car and rocking bike, while the older ones enjoyed laser maze and bumper cars. For many of these children, it was their first time visiting such a space. The team at Super Space ensured all the children had the best time of their life and helped children enjoy each ride and game multiple times.
The school aims to not only teach young patients to stay connected with their education while they remain under treatment for more than six months but also to provide these children opportunities to enjoy activities outside the Hospital.
IHHN is proud to have Super Space (an initiative of AA Joyland) as a partner that is enabling IHHN to provide holistic care focused on mental and emotional well-being for its young patients
