Allied Health Professionals Council Evaluates University of Haripur’s Programs

Haripur: The University of Haripur welcomed a delegation from the Allied Health Professionals Council of Pakistan on May 7, 2025, marking a significant step in the accreditation process for its Allied Health Sciences programs. The visit, known as a zero visit, underscores the university’s commitment to educational quality in its Medical Laboratory Technology department.

The delegation included Mr. Muhammad Arshad from NIMS College of Medical Technology, who led the team, along with Mr. Bilal Ahmed from Abbottabad University of Science and Technology and Mr. Salman Ahmed from Khyber Medical University, Peshawar.

The day’s events began with a briefing led by Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of the University of Haripur. During his address, he reiterated the university’s focus on achieving excellence in health education and enhancing its health sciences infrastructure.

Prof. Dr. Aziz Ullah, Dean of the Faculty of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, discussed the institution’s goal to develop skilled, ethical, and research-driven healthcare professionals. He highlighted the alignment of the university’s standards with both national and international benchmarks.

Dr. Sadiq Noor Khan, Chairman of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, shared a comprehensive overview of the department’s objectives, programs, and facilities. He highlighted the department’s emphasis on practical, clinically integrated education through advanced laboratories and cross-disciplinary partnerships.
