Alif Laam Meem collaborated with Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust for Flood Relief Drive

Karachi, September 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):Alif Laam Meem (ALM) collaborated with Al Mustafa trust for their Flood Relief Camp for the affectees of Fazilpur and Rajanpur. Mr. Liaqat Ali Gohar, Patron in Chief ALM, Ms. Hiba Ali Gohar, Founder ALM, Mr. Shehryar Qadir, Project Manager ALM, Mr. Hassnain Hashmi, Admin Manager ALM, Ms. Maham Noor, Project Coordinator ALM, Ms. Tehreem Hasham, Director Public Relations ALM and Mr. Jibran Ahsan, Representative of Al Mustafa Trust visited the flood affected areas of Fazilpur, Kot Mithon and Rajanpur last week.

Mr. Liaqat Ali Gohar, Patron in Chief ALM exchanged his views by saying that Al Mustafa is doing great at this hour of crisis, the way they are providing aid to the affected areas is commendable. Ms. Hiba Ali Gohar, Founder ALM said that, all NGOs should unite at one platform for the well-being of affected people. We should do a collaborative effort for the aid and rehabilitation of the people who belong to small cities and villages. She further added that flood has badly affected the areas of southern Punjab and ALM aims to provide maximum facilities to the people of these areas on long-term basis.

Mr. Shehryaar Qadir, Project Manager ALM said that we have distributed around 200 ration bags among the people of Fazilpur and we also visited the people who are living in the tents provided by Al Mustafa trust. Ms. Maham Noor, Project Coordinator ALM added that there are many young girls who lost their fathers, brothers and husbands during this catastrophic flood government should do something to rehabilitate them.

Mr. Hassnain Hashmi, Admin Manager ALM said that we are extremely thankful to Mr. Tajammul Gurmani, Country Director Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust for cooperating and helping us in conducting Phase 1 of our Flood Relief Camp. Ms. Tehreem Hasham, Director Public Relations added that we will be conducting another camp in the end of September in which our focus will remain upon the rehabilitation of affected people, so I request the entire youth and young women of Pakistan to come forward and help us in the 2nd phase of our Flood Relief camp.
