Bahawalpur, August 31, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the direction of Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, a meeting was organized in Department of Botany to promote mutual relations between faculty and parents. Students of BS and MS programs attended with their parents. Dr. Nargis Naaz Chairperson Department of Botany and faculty members informed the parents about the academic environment of the university and the progress of the department and discussed the queries and problems of the parents.

Parents also showed their positive reaction to the department and faculty of the university and the educational environment. On this occasion, it was informed that under the leadership of Dean Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, admissions to BS and MPhil in the Department of Botany, Department of Chemistry, Department of Zoology, Department of Biochemistry, Department of Biotechnology and Department of Bioinformatics are going on in the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences and there are a wide range of job opportunities available for graduates in the education sector, government and private sectors.
