Islamabad, August 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, nearly twice as many individuals (65%) are married within their families as opposed to outside their family (34%).
A nationally representative sample of married adult men and women from across the country was asked the question “Please tell me if your marriage is/was within your own family or outside the family?” In response, 65% said within the family, 34% said outside the family, and 1% gave no response.
