Lahore, August 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Institutes of Microbiology (IOM) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with The World Wide Scientific and Thermo Fisher Scientific arranged daylong hands-on training workshop on ‘Operation of Lab Equipment’s’ at UVAS Quality Operation Lab.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmed presided over the concluding ceremony of training and distributed certificates among 28 participants while Director Institute of Microbiology Prof Dr Aftab Anjum, Dr Muhammad Asad Ali and number of faculty members were present. Mr Zoraiz Jamil and Mr Shahid Yaqub were the resource persons of training and they delivered their lectures on troubleshooting, effective maintenance and handling of lab equipment’s.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Nasim Ahmed acknowledged the organizer to arrange this workshop on informative topic for the capacity building of faculty and postgraduate students of (IOM).
