Islamabad, July 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet Pakistan, by the end of last year, 87% Pakistanis remained extremely pessimistic regarding the unemployment situation in the country.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “In your opinion, in comparison to last 6-months, unemployment in Pakistan is…?” In response, 2% said it is a lot better, 7% said it is better, 5% said there is no change, 33% said it is worse, 54% said it is a lot worse and 1% said they do not know.
