Bahawalpur, July 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): Department of English Linguistics, IUB, is going to organize a public defence of PhD scholar, Muhammad Amjad, on July 13, 2023. He completed his research work under the supervision of Dr. Riaz Hussain, head, Department of English Linguistics. Dr. Muhammad Asif, Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Dr Noshaba Younus, Chairperson Dept. of English, Riphah International University Faisalabad, will serve as external examiners.

His research focuses on the language of official English documents of school and higher education departments of Pakistan. The study also proposes materials along with a six-week teaching plan for effective writing of official documents.
