8th Pakistan Industrial Expo 2024 Launches with Keynote from Punjab Governor

Lahore: The 8th Pakistan Industrial Expo 2024 began at the Lahore Expo Center, featuring a collaboration between the University of Sargodha and Everest International Pvt. Ltd. The opening ceremony was marked by the presence of Mr. Sardar Saleem Haider, Governor of Punjab, who served as the chief guest.

According to University of Sargodha, the event gathered around 300 Pakistani and Chinese companies to exhibit their products and services, aimed at fostering investment and collaboration across various sectors. This expo, significant for its scale and the quality of its participants, seeks to enhance the synergy between academia and the industrial sector, thus bolstering the economic framework of Pakistan.

The Governor highlighted the strategic importance of fostering such initiatives, which are vital in leveraging Pakistan’s geographical and economic stance in South Asia. His speech underlined the historical and ongoing partnership between Pakistan and China, stressing that this expo will serve as a catalyst for attracting further international investment. Mr. Wang Zhei of Everest International added that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is creating new trade opportunities, which the expo could significantly optimize for enhancing economic ties.

The event is set to continue with discussions and exhibitions aimed at reinforcing industrial relationships and exploring new ventures within the global marketplace.
