35% of people globally as compared to 22% of Pakistanis think the Russian-Ukraine military hostilities/war will come to an end in 2022: Gallup Pakistan and WIN World Survey report released 

Islamabad, June 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a Gallup Pakistan Survey in Pakistan (and similar surveys done by Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research (WIN) across the world), 35% of people globally as compared to 22% of Pakistanis think the Russian-Ukraine military hostilities/war will come to an end in 2022.

These findings emerge from an international survey conducted across the globe by The Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research (WIN) – a global network conducting market research and opinion polls in every continent. WIN International has published the Annual WIN World Survey (WWS – 2021), exploring the views and beliefs of 19,422 individuals, among citizens from 24 countries across the globe. The fieldwork for Pakistan was conducted between 5th to 8th April 2022 and the sample size was 500 individuals.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the world were asked the following question, “When do you think the Russian-Ukraine military hostilities/war will come to an end?”. In response to this question in Pakistan, 22% said in 2022, 5% said in 2023, 5% said 2024 or later, 5% said never and 63% didn’t know or gave no response.
