بیجنگ، 26 جون 2021 / ژن ہوا- ایشیانیٹ/۔۔ 16 جون 2021 کو چائنا سائبر سیکورٹی انڈسٹری الائنس (سی سی آئی اے) نے “2021 چائنا سائبر سیکورٹی مارکیٹ مسابقتی رپورٹ” جاری کرتے ہوئے اعلان کیا کہ “2021 چین کی سائبر سیکورٹی صنعت میں سرفہرست 50 مسابقتی کاروباری ادارے” (سی سی آئی اے ٹاپ 50)، “2021 سائبر سیکورٹی انڈسٹری میں چین کے ابھرتے ہوئے ستارے” (سی سی آئی اے رائزنگ اسٹارز) اور “2021 سائبر سیکورٹی انڈسٹری میں چین کے سب سے امید افزا ستارے”۔کیو آئی- اے این ایکس آئی این، سی سی آئی اے ٹاپ 50 کی فہرست میں پہلے نمبر پر ہے اور سنگفور، وینس ٹیک، ہواوے اور ٹینسینٹ جیسے معروف کاروباری ادارے بھی اس فہرست میں شامل ہیں۔

سی سی آئی اے نے 2020 میں سائبر سیکورٹی انڈسٹری کا اہم ترین ڈیٹا جاری کیا

مارچ 2021 میں سی سی آئی اے نے سائبر سیکورٹی مصنوعات، خدمات اور حل کی فروخت سے حاصل ہونے والی آمدنی کے ساتھ گھریلو کاروباری اداروں کے لئے ایک عوامی سروے کا آغاز کیا تھا اور تقریبا 200 کمپنیوں سے درست ڈیٹا اکٹھا کیا جس میں بنیادی طور پر بڑے گھریلو سائبر سیکورٹی کاروباری اداروں کا احاطہ کیا گیا تھا۔ سروے رپورٹ کے مطابق 2020 میں چین کی سائبر سیکورٹی مارکیٹ کا پیمانہ تقریبا 53.2 ارب آر ایم بی تھا جس میں سال بہ سال شرح نمو 11.3 فیصد رہی جس میں کوویڈ -19 وبا کی وجہ سے سست رفتار نمو دکھائی دی۔

2021 میں عوامی جمہوریہ چین کے ڈیٹا سیکورٹی لاء، پرسنل انفارمیشن پروٹیکشن لاء اور اہم معلوماتی بنیادی ڈھانچے کے تحفظ سے متعلق ضوابط جیسے قوانین اور نفاذ کے ساتھ سائبر سیکورٹی کی اہمیت تیزی سے نمایاں ہو گئی ہے اور مارکیٹ اسکیل میں توسیع ہوتی رہے گی۔ صرف 2021 کی پہلی ششماہی میں چین میں مجموعی طور پر 4751 کمپنیاں سائبر سیکورٹی کے کاروبار میں مصروف تھیں جو گزشتہ سال کی اسی مدت کے مقابلے میں 23.1 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔

یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ رپورٹ کا سب سے اہم حصہ “سی سی آئی اے ٹاپ 50” جاری کیا گیا جس کا مقصد سائبر سکیورٹی انڈسٹری میں اہل حکام، سرمایہ کاری اداروں، صارفین، کاروباری اداروں اور پریکٹیشنرز کو ٹاپ 50 مسابقتی نیٹ ورک سکیورٹی انٹرپرائزز کی ترقیاتی حیثیت اور صنعتی ڈھانچے کا عالمی جائزہ فراہم کرنا ہے۔ اور متعلقہ پالیسی سازی، سرمایہ کاری کے فیصلہ سازی، پروجیکٹ کی خریداری، اسٹریٹیجک پلاننگ اور صنعت اور مارکیٹ کی سمجھ بوجھ کے لئے مضبوط حوالے کے ساتھ کثیر جہتی معلومات فراہم کریں۔

اپنی معروف ٹیکنالوجی اور شاندار مارکیٹ کارکردگی کے ساتھ کیو آئی-اے این ایکس آئی این “سی سی آئی اے ٹاپ 50” میں پہلے نمبر پرموجود ہے اوریہ سائبر سیکورٹی انڈسٹری میں تسلیم شدہ ہے ۔2021  کی سی سی آئی اے ٹاپ 50 کمپنیوں کا انتخاب بنیادی طور پر کاروباری اداروں کی جامع صلاحیت کو دو جہتوں سے پیمائش کرکے کیا جاتا ہے: “وسائل کی طاقت” اور “مسابقت”۔ “وسائل کی طاقت” کے انڈٰکیٹرز یہ ہیں: چاہے کوئی کمپنی عوامی طور پر درج ہو، کمپنی کی کل آپریٹنگ آمدنی، مارکیٹ ویلیو، ایچ آر اسکیل اور معیار کی تشخیص کی گئی ہو۔ “مسابقت” کے انڈٰکیٹرز یہ ہیں: برانڈ اثر، سیکورٹی کاروباری آمدنی اور مجموعی منافع، سیکورٹی کاروباری شرح نمو، خالص منافع کی شرح، ریوینیو کمپوزیشن، اسٹاف کمپوزیشن، سروس سے متعلق اہلیتوں کی مقدار اور سطح، مصنوعات سے متعلق اہلیت کی مقدار اور سطح، آر اینڈ  ڈی سرمایہ کاری اور کل کاروباری آمدنی میں اس کا تناسب وغیرہ۔

2020 میں چین کی سائبر سیکورٹی صنعت میں بڑے کاروباری اداروں کے مارکیٹ شیئر کے مطابق کیو آئی- اے این ایکس آئی این 4.16 ارب آر ایم بی کی سکیورٹی بزنس آمدنی کے ساتھ صنعت میں پہلے نمبر پر ہے۔ اپنی “مضبوط آر ڈی” حکمت عملی پر عمل کرتے ہوئے کیو آئی-اے این ایکس آئی این نے ایک مضبوط پروڈکٹ میٹرکس، آٹھ سائبر سیکورٹی آراینڈ ڈی پلیٹ فارمز تعمیر کیے ہیں اور نئی نسل کے سائبر سیکورٹی لیڈر کے طور پر تیار کیا ہے۔

NUMS, Pharmaceutical Company, DOU to forge cooperation in healthcare research and development 

Rawalpindi, June 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) and a leading multi-national regional pharmaceutical company signed a 5-year Document of Understanding (DOU) here last Friday to enhance cooperation in the field of research and development pertaining to healthcare.

 

The DOU was inked by NUMS Vice Chancellor Lt Gen Syed Muhammad Imran Majeed (Retd) and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer CCL Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd Lahore Dr Shahzad Khan at a simple ceremony here Friday. It was attended among others, by the Pro Vice Chancellor Academics Maj Gen Saleem Ahmad Khan (Retd), Pro Vice Chancellor Administration Maj Gen Syed Ammar Reza Hamdani (Retd), and Director NUMS Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) Awais e Siraj and head of Medical Affairs CCL Beena Ali.

 

Under the DOU pharmaceutical company has expressed its willingness in “capacity building and training with special emphasis on pharmaceutical testing including bioequivalence studies, clinical trials and healthcare products development,” which will help bolster NUMS endeavour to improve quality of life of the people.

 

“CCL actively seeks opportunities to contribute to clinical research, product, and capacity development of key stakeholders,” it added. In his brief remarks on the occasion the Vice Chancellor of NUMS said, “We and you are in the business of dispensing healthcare to the patients. We fully support you as our success will be gauged by your success.”

 

The pharmaceutical company, with an annual turnover of Rs 8 Billion, is currently has its operations in South Asia, South East Asia, Central Asia, Middle East, and Africa and is producing a vast range of over 200 products in major therapeutic categories.

IBA Karachi and Pak Brunei ink an MoU to empower deserving students 

Karachi, June 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and Pak Brunei Investment Company Limited (PBICL) have collaborated to support IBA’s Financial Assistance Program for its financially deserving students. Executive Director, IBA Karachi, Dr. S Akbar Zaidi and Managing Director, PBICL, Ms. Ayesha Aziz signed an MoU at the IBA Main Campus. Under this 4-year agreement, PBICL will set up an annual scholarship fund worth PKR 2 million at the IBA, supporting one deserving student for the duration of his/her studies.

 

Furthermore, the PBICL and the IBA will also collaborate on the Experiential Learning Projects (ELP) program. PBICL will offer real time projects to the IBA’s business management students for their learning and grooming. Sharing her thoughts, Ms. Aziz commended the IBA for empowering the capable youth of the country by provision of quality education through its Financial Assistance Program.

NUST inks a partnership agreement with Tufail Group to enhance industry-academia linkages 

Islamabad, June 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):NUST entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tufail Group, one of the leading Industrial Chemical Manufacturers of Pakistan, at the Group’s Headquarters in Karachi on June 24, 2021. AVM Dr Rizwan Riaz SI(M), Pro-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Commercialisation represented NUST at the august occasion, and a warm welcome was extended by Mr Zubair Tufail and Mr Pervez Tufail, co-owners of Tufail Group, to the NUST team.

 

The MoU formalises the existing partnership with the Tufail Group on the NUST Endowment for Educational Development programme. This initiative is a nation-building strive of NUST to ensure that no student at the University leaves due to any financial constraints. With a 4% acceptance rate at NUST, as many as 61% of students hail from lower-middle-income strata of the society.

 

The MoU also envisaged a collaborative arrangement on Research and Development projects, Executive Training Programmes, Management Training Programmes, and other avenues of strengthening academia-industrial linkages. Pro-Rector appreciated the strong commitment of Tufail Group to support education for all segments of society. He further expressed that the excellence of NUST combined with the commitment of one of the country’s leading industrial groups can undoubtedly achieve greater feats in defining the future of our country.

Book Launching Ceremony held at IRD

Islamabad, June 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):A launching ceremony of the book: “State Society Conflict in Pakistan: A Psychological perspective” authored by Dr. Ghulam Mujaddid and Published by Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) of International Islamic University (IIU), was held here at the old campus of the university.

 

Chief Guest of the ceremony was Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Sohail Aman, Former Chief of Air Staff, Guest of Honour of the ceremony was Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Shehzad Aslam Chaudhary, while the session was chaired by Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector IIUI. It was also attended by Executive Director IRD, Dr. Husnul Amin, the author, Ghulam Mujadid, Vice President Academics Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice Chancellor Air University, Javaid Ahmed and Keynote Speaker Dr. Khalid Masud, former Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology (CII).

 

Dr Ghulam Mujadid is Air Commodore (Retd) who has served as a faculty at PAF Air War College and National Defense University. He continues to teach as Assistant Professor at the Department of the Aerospace Sciences and Strategic Studies (DASS), Air University. Speakers noted that the author has discussed a valuable topic and he has discussed the solutions on this important topic. The psychosocial perspective adopted by the author was also appreciated by the speakers.

 

The Author appreciated the highly professional research team of IRD and also elaborated the relationship of state and society. He thanked his team and the mentors for the support. He discussed parts of the books dedicated to the sub topics such as State Society Conflict in Pakistan: The evidence, psychological nature of the state in Pakistan, psychological nature of the state in Pakistani society, values, attitudes and behaviour of social institutions in society and resolution of state society conflict.

 

Speaking on the occasion, IIU Rector Dr. Masoom opined that the book has relevance to the societal needs and added that it must be the approach of the universities to launch such projects and initiatives that may serve the purpose of delivering to the society. He said research and problem solving approach according to the needs of society is the need of hour. Earlier, Dr. Husn ul Amin apprised of the vision of IRD and also discussed the theme of the book. He thanked the author, research and publication team as well.

VIS Directorate at Capital University and Islamabad Traffic Police Holds a Quiz Competition on Road Safety 

Islamabad, June 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Islamabad Traffic Police quiz competition was last time held in 2018 where Capital University of Science and Technology won the 1st position among all the Universities of Islamabad.

 

June 22, 2021 VIS-CUST organized a seminar where team of ITP participated for the selection of quiz competition. The Seminar started with the recitation of Holy Quran.

 

A general quiz was held regarding road safety. 30 students of CUST participated in quiz completion selection and among 30 students 5 best students will be nominated for quiz competition.
