Lahore: Institute of Applied Psychology is thrilled to announce the success of the 15th International Conference of PPA held on November 7, 2024, at Avari Hotel, Lahore. The event, themed “Navigating Applied Fields of Psychology: Research Practices and Current Developments in Pakistan,” saw the collaboration of the Institute of Applied Psychology, University, along with over 60 national and international universities and institutions.
According to University of the Punjab, the conference’s inaugural session included keynote addresses and a panel discussion by distinguished psychologists such as Prof. Dr. Ruhi Khalid, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar, Prof. Dr. Claudia Harzer from Germany, Prof. Dr. Stale Pallesen from Norway, and Dr. Laura Brown from the UK. These sessions highlighted cutting-edge research in psychology and addressed mental health concerns and solutions. The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Riaz Fatyana, Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
The conference concluded with Mr. Muhammad Irfan Kisana, General Secretary of PPA, delivering a vote of thanks. This gathering marked a significant milestone in enhancing psychology research and practice within Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration among global and local institutions.
