Faisalabad: The National Textile University in Faisalabad held a rally on May 6, 2026, to commemorate the anniversary of the Marka-e-Haq victory under Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. The event, organized by the PMYDC-Arts and Culture Society under the leadership of Mr. Saqib Rao, aimed to honor the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The rally saw participation from a significant number of students, faculty members, and university officials.

According to National Textile University, the rally was led by Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood, with Dean Dr. Zafar Javed also in attendance. Notable attendees included Mr. Adeel Bin Ahmed, Mr. Afzal, Madam Nadia Shamim, Madam Tobassum Latif, Madam Nida Ramzan, Amjad Ali Naz, Malik Omair, and Sardar Parvez Akhtar. During his address, Dr. Masood highlighted the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos as a representation of national pride and resilience against terrorism. He stressed the need for unity and support for national defense institutions, while paying tribute to the martyrs and their families for their significant sacrifices.
